GOA-ON is a collaborative international network designed to address three goals: to improve our understanding of global OA conditions; to improve our understanding of ecosystem response to OA; and to acquire and exchange data and knowledge necessary to optimize modelling for OA and its impacts.

OARS Launches New Framework

On World Ocean Day, 8 June 2025, the Ocean Acidification Research for Sustainability (OARS) Programme launched its OA Information for Decision Making Framework. This new framework identifies six key decision-making categories where OA research can help guide policies, resource management, and community responses.
